1996 – 1998: First steps
1996 - ITE opens office in St.Petersburg, with a view to organising medical exhibitions. Its’ first project is the Hospital exhibition.
1997 - The company launches the projects Interfood and Baltic Building Week.
The company has worked actively with Lenexpo and Restec since it began operating.
1998 – 2008: Expansion
1998 – Organises ‘ExpoElectronica’ exhibition (at that time the exhibition area stood at 350m²)1999 – A new department is created – outbound – which is responsible for international sales. Primexpo organises a number of projects with international organisations: Windows for Business (Russia-UK) and Made in France (Russia-France). New exhibitions: ‘CleanExpo St.Petersburg’; ‘Dry-Cleaners and Laundry St. Petersburg’; ‘ExpoClean’ (Moscow).
2000 – 2004 – organises exhibitions: MERATEK (Moscow), NDT Russia (Moscow), Dry-Cleaners and Laundry Moscow, LAB (Moscow), ElectronTechExpo (Moscow), AestheticMed (St.Petersburg), ExpoCoating (Moscow), Power Electronics (Moscow).
2004 – Primexpo becomes a member of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs
2005 – The company’s first exhibitions are officially audited: ExpoElectronica, Interfood, Prodtech and BalticBuild. Primexpo wins an award at the 3rd Made in St.Petersburg competition for reviving and supporting the prestige of the St.Petersburg brand.
2006 – Three projects are approved by UFI: CleanExpo, NDT Russia and BalticBuild.
1998 – 2005 – Primexpo projects: Subcontracting, UPEM, Stationery Expo St.Petersburg, Ambulance Services, SportExpo.
2010 –….: Primexpo today
Primexpo is one of the three leading exhibition businesses in northwest Russia. The company’s portfolio includes over 20 exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow and other major Russian cities, and more than 200 related business events.
Primexpo works with leading exhibition venues - Lenexpo, Crocus Expo, Olympisky and many others - and with major Russian exhibition operators.
The numerous awards the company has received are proof of the high quality and prestige of the exhibitions organised by Primexpo.
One of the main factors behind the success of the company is the performance of its employees, who have many years of experience in the exhibition business and work effectively as a team. The company has a staff of 60.
The company is actively developing its congress and exhibition activities:
2010 year - the start of the new project - The International Specialised Exhibition “Information Security. Counter Surveillance”. This year SFITEX, the International Security and Fire Exhibition, was named the best congress and exhibition project and took first place in its category in the “Made in St. Petersburg” competition for quality.
2011 - International Exhibition of International Exhibition for LED solutions, chip design and manufacturing - LEDTechExpo, International Forum for water supply and climate equipment - ExpoClimate
The company’s exhibitions are regularly audited. Ten of the company’s exhibitions have received “UFI Approved Event” status from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and six have been approved by the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
